This week we’re featuring Iris.
A few months ago, a litter of 6 puppies was surrendered to a local county shelter, and from there, they all came to live in foster homes.
Mom was a jack russell mix, and almost all of the puppies look like little jack russells… and then there’s Iris.
This 6-month-old girl must have had a black lab as a dad, but she is going to be the tiniest one you’ve ever met!
For being a young baby, Iris is the most perfect dog, she’s part jack russell, part angel!
She’s crate-trained, potty-trained, dog-friendly, kid-friendly, and treat-motivated enough that training her is really easy!
Iris loves running with other doggos, chewing on a stick in the sun, and exploring new environments.
When she’s brought to events, admirers say that she is the calmest puppy they have ever seen!
Whoever adopts Iris will be getting a quick-start version of a puppy with lots of training under her belt already.
You can apply to adopt Iris at SecondChanceNC.org.
