This week we’re featuring Selina.
Selina’s story emphasizes the value of spaying and neutering–this 1-year-old black cat is the epitome of “babies having babies.”
When she was rescued from an overcrowded shelter back in November, she came along with 6 teeny babies in tow, the whole litter born into homelessness.
Selina became deathly sick and her kiddos had to be removed from her and bottle-fed while she recovered.
They are all doing great, and so is Selina!
She’s running free in a cageless community room at Second Chance, where she gets along swimmingly with other kind cats.
After all the care she’s gotten from loving humans, she’s a real people person and looking forward to living with some in a forever home!
If she sounds like the kitty for you, meet Selina at Second Chance Pet Adoptions or learn more about her at SecondChanceNC.org!
