Senior sweetheart alert! Seventeen-pound Sophia is an 11-year-old Jack Russell Terrier with a heart of gold.

This gal is technically looking for a retirement home, but a semi-active one, where she can still get in a daily walk or play in the yard before coming in for snuggles.

She currently enjoys the heck out of a doggy door and fenced-in backyard in her foster home–having both in her forever home would be the bee’s knees!

Sophia is a quiet girl who barely barks, so she won’t create a lot of volume, and she isn’t looking to be surrounded by noise, either—for this reason, she would do best in a home with no small children.
