This week’s featured pet is Milo.
Milo, a 1-year-old hound puppy, was found running as a stray in a rural part of North Carolina.
The best guess about his short history is that he was likely a failed hunting dog turned loose, and his foster home is probably his first indoor home.
Milo is the sweetest kid with the best temperament!
If you take him to the dog park, you’ll see that he approaches every dog, no matter the shape or size, in the same way: as a potential friend.
While hounds are known to be on the noisy side, Milo is a quiet guy, much more likely to express himself through facial expressions.
Though he may not be chatty, he’s definitely active and will need to live with a family who’s got another friendly dog or will take him regularly to dog parks or on other adventures.
If he sounds like the fun-lovin’ dude that’s right for you, learn more about Milo at SecondChanceNC.org, where you can also apply to adopt so a meeting can be arranged!
PLUS! Milo will also be among the dogs at the Second Chance adoption event at Hollywood Feed in North Raleigh this Sunday, February 2, from 1pm to 3pm.
