This week we’re featuring Elliot.
More great news: last week’s kitties, Nancy and Skylar, got adopted together! We are on a roll in 2020!
Occasionally I’ll tell you about a cat or kitten that’s been hanging with us in the staff office, but this time, it’s a doggo! Five-year-old beagle boy Elliot is desperate to hang out with people, and if he knows you’re around but there’s a wall between you, you’re gonna hear about it! He much prefers to be at your side, maybe standing guard as far away as the nearest window to see what’s goin’ on in the ‘hood. As I mentioned, Elliot is pretty vocal, so you’ll also be notified if there is something interesting out there; he’s a crooner, and his hit singles are “Emergency Siren” and “The Other Dogs are Singing, Too.” Not everyone appreciates his seal-like bark, so he probably shouldn’t move into an apartment with shared walls. And, he’s too much of a resource guarder to be good with kiddos–but with adults, he loves it when you rub his velvet ears and his belly.
If you’re looking for someone with whom to enjoy fine dining and daily walks, learn more about Elliot at SecondChanceNC.org or come to meet him this Saturday, February 22, at BottleMixx at Creedmoor and Brennan Drive next to Tropical Smoothie during our Paws and Pours wine-tasting from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
