This week we’re featuring Shavonne!
Weighing in at just 6 pounds (so petite!), Shavonne–a 1-year-old tabby cat–was basically rescued as a teen mom! At her young age, she had to grow up fast to take care of her small litter of kittens. They’ve found their home, so now our girl is looking for her forever home, too! And, now that she doesn’t have to take care of anyone, Shavonne is finding her youth again and acting like the wild child she didn’t have the freedom to be when she was a mama! She’s energetic and loves running after her toys. She’ll be looking for a home with someone who’s happy to indulge her in her silly antics and play with her. For now, Shavonne lives at our adoption center, which is closed for walk-in visits due to COVID-19. However, anyone interested in meeting Shavonne can learn more about her and apply to adopt on our website; we’ll set up a time for you to visit the center when there are just one to two mask-wearing staff members in the building. So, please get started with an application at www.SecondChanceNC.org.
