This week we’re featuring Remy!
Amazing news, once again! Last week’s kitty, Coquina, was officially adopted last Thursday! She is now living happily and safely in her forever home!
Remy is a 6-year-old terrier mix we rescued from a local county shelter at the beginning of April. Since he is older, he is completely housetrained and well behaved. He loves to go on walks, play with other dogs, and meet other people (with proper introduction), but he also has no problem lying in bed and sleeping all day! We believe that in his past, he was poorly mistreated with crutches, canes, and/or walkers, for he tends to be defensive when near those types of items. His favorite day activities include going on walks and playing ball with his humans, but in the evening he turns into a complete snuggle bug! Remy is heartworm positive, but Second Chance has committed to paying for all of his medical appointments until he has completed his treatment. If you believe that Remy is the perfect fit for your family, apply to adopt at www.secondchancenc.org. We will be able to set up a safe, socially-distant meeting with him and his foster mom!
