KIX Café: Carolina Theatre

KIX Café: Carolina Theatre

This week, Big Jim serves up tickets for you to see Old Crow Medicine Show at Carolina Theatre December 2nd and 3rd! Old Crow Medicine Show comes to the Carolina Theatre in Downtown Durham on Thursday, December 2 and Friday, December 3.

Old Crow Medicine Show

Tickets to see Old Crow Medicine Show start at $49.50 and are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com and at the venue’s website, carolinatheatre.org. Old Crow Medicine Show got their start busking on street corners in 1998, from New York state and up through Canada, winning audiences along the way with their boundless energy and spirit. They eventually found themselves in Boone, North Carolina where they caught the attention of folk icon Doc Watson while playing in front of a pharmacy. He invited the band to play at his festival, MerleFest, and the rest is history.

This show will require fans to provide either proof of a negative test result within 72 hours of the event OR full vaccination for entry.

As the Carolina Theatre of Durham welcomes back guests for live events, the nonprofit venue is closely following all public health guidelines set by the City of Durham. Currently, all visitors are required to wear a mask except for when actively eating or drinking.

To protect its guests, the Carolina Theatre of Durham has installed Global Plasma Solutions (GPS) Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization technology (NBPI)™ to purify indoor air quality in all public spaces. Additionally, the Theatre has received Global Biorisk Advisory Council® (GBAC) STAR™ certification, the gold standard for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention.
