Meet our KIX Pet of the Week, Eddie!

Eddie, a brindle labrador retriever mix, came to us as a 5-month-old puppy, his owners surrendering him because he was too much for them to handle. A year and a half later, we somehow still have this wonderful boy in our care. He’s a clumsy, loveable boy with puppy energy to burn and a playful personality that loves to goof around with fellow dogs or human friends. He is a big boy at 70 pounds but is crate trained, house trained, and does great on a leash. He is still a bit of a pup at 2 years old but he listens very well and is starting to mellow out as he gets older. A fenced yard is a definite must for Eddie, so he can get all of his energy out. He would do great in a home with another dog to play with, but he’d also love to be the center of attention and get all of your playtime!
